2017 Gender Spectrum Professionals' Symposium

Becoming a gender inclusive school is a journey that ideally includes active involvement from parents/caregivers, educators, administrators, and students. In this workshop, participants will learn Gender Spectrum’s framework for Gender Inclusive Schools and watch an excerpt from the film Gender Inclusive Schools which highlights an Oakland Public Elementary School's work with educators, parents, and students. There will be time for Q&A and dialogue. Attendees will leave with some concrete tools from Gender Spectrum’s Back-to-School Kit.
